Epic Gamesは本日（2025年5月2日），Epic Games Storeにおけるストア手数料を一定条件下で0％にする仕組みを6月に導入すると発表した。条件はアプリあたりの年間収益が100万ドル（約1.45億円）までとし，それ以上稼いだ場合は，デベロッパ側88％，Epic側12％のレベニューシェアとなる。

また，Epic Games Storeの新機能として，デベロッパが独自のWebショップを立ち上げられる仕組みを6月にリリース予定だ。EUや米国のiOSをはじめとした，許可されている任意のプラットフォームで，独自のWebショップへプレイヤーを誘導し，AppleやGoogleの購入システムの代替手段として利用できる。
