外出時など、そのときの状況に合わせてスライド式レンズカバーでカメラレンズを覆い、見守りカメラとして使用。Indoor Camカバーが無効化できるのはカメラのビデオ録画のみです。双方向通話とマイクは影響されません。
電源ケーブルのスイッチでIndoor CamのON/OFFを切り替えられるため、さらに利便性が向上。

アプリと設定方法が分かりにくい
最初の設定が分かりにくいが、一度好みの設定に出来てしまえば、問題ない。結構広角なので、部屋の広い範囲が見られる。通話機能はおまけ程度。

外出、出張中の安心のために買いました。
スマホに入れたアプリで、部屋の状態がリアルタイムでも見れるのがとても便利です。セットアップも簡単でしたし、長期で家を離れる時も何かあれば一目瞭然なので安心。買ってよかったです。

これを買うなら…
ペット見守り用にカメラを買いました。寝室につけてますがカメラ切り忘れると、自分が着替えてるところまで写ってしまい。それでこちらを購入したのですが、電源切ったり、蓋を閉めると、出掛けてしまってからカメラ電源入れてくるの忘れた！となったり。せっかくペットの見守りカメラ買ったのに見られない…そこで余ってたスマートプラグにカメラをつけて使ってみたら、めっちゃ便利になりました。「アレクサ、カメラオン」で電源入るし、出掛け先からもカメラ見ることも出来ます。勿論切ることも。これを買うならスマートプラグ買った方が便利です。

コード短過ぎ。。。
OFFにするとスリープでもなく電源が落ちるので朝、ONにしたらセットアップにも時間が必要です。玄関まわりにコンセントがないので 別売りの3Mコードと←不要こちらも購入。付属品で別売りですがこちらに関してはコードが短過ぎでした。結局いつも使っている延長コードを使用しました。ONのライトも個人的には光らなくて良いくらいです。パナソニックのザ・タップ WHF2323WLWPで使用するので2本ともなくても良かったくらいです。

人感センサーは無駄な録画を無くして良い。画角も広い。音声もクリアに録音できる。

This was an addition to an existing RING alarm system. The camera is very easy to set up and connect to the system. It provides a good view, day or night, light or darkness. If you have the alarm monitoring the video is stored for a period of time.

Instructions on how to install the cover weren’t provided, so I put it on upside down and wondered why it wouldn’t stay clipped on. Upon closer inspection I discovered the problem.Here’s what to do:Use a star headed screwdriver to remove the base of the camera. Put the round end of the cover on the bottom of the camera and clip the beveled end on the top of the camera. Replace the base.Ring Customer Service was very attentive to my initial review. Great service provided! 5 stars for their customer support, 4 stars because the product could use an instruction diagram.

I purchased two of these. My husband and I travel a lot. We have two elderly dogs that are no longer able to travel with us. Even though my son and daughter come and check on them twice a day each, I feel more comfortable if I can keep an eye on my dogs myself. I bought two of these cameras, one for my kitchen and one for my living room. I can watch the dogs from my ring app to ensure they are alright. The cameras give me a clear picture of both rooms. I can even talk to my dogs if I want. They give me that extra feeling of comfort. And for when we are home, I bought the cover to put on them that provides privacy. These are only two of my four ring cameras. I have a spotlight camera over my garage and another stickup camera that monitors the pool. Very happy.
